Help us reimagine Laurel’s Broad Creek waterfront. With the help of engaged town citizens and leaders, The Ramble plan was designed to be a green, mixed-use redevelopment of the area betwween Roger Fisher Park on the west and the fishing pier on the east.
On Saturday, September 26, those plans will come to life between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Better Block will be coming to Laurel. Better Block is a hands-on planning and engagement effort that helps citizens experience what a vision for an area actually looks, sounds, feels and tastes like. There will be music, outdoor food and drink, kayaking, arts and crafts, activities for youth, demonstrations and information about The Ramble project and its potential.
Special activities include the Ramble Tap Room featuring 3rd Wave Brewing and ice cream from Vanderwende Farm Creamery. A farmer’s market and shops will pop up for the day to help bring Laurel’s future to life.
Look at our Better Block page for more information. Keep track on our Facebook page. And watch the website as details of the day unfold.
