The Laurel Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to review the final draft of Laurel’s 10-year Comprehensive Plan update.The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13.

The commission conducted a public hearing on the plan at its August 9 meeting. Commission members, the Mayor, Laurel Town Council, and several state agencies all made recommendations based on the initial plan draft.

The Planning and Zoning is expected to recommend for or against adoption of the plan by the Mayor and Council, who will meet at 7 p.m. on September 18 to conduct a public hearing on the plan.
